BATTLE OF THE BADGES
BATTLE OF THE BADGES CHARITY BASEBALL GAME
SEPTEMBER 11, 2021
NICER was invited to participate in the Battle of the Badges Charity Baseball Game festivities on Saturday, September 11th. The group was asked to plan youth games and was one of five local charitable organizations to receive funds raised during the event. Other organizations included: DOVE, HOPE Animal Shelter, Joy of Giving and Range Suicide Prevention.
Community members and their families were invited to come out and support these local charities, as local law enforcement agencies competed in a Wisconsin vs. Michigan match-up. The event included food & drinks, 50/50 tickets, and kids games and face painting provided by Fun E Business.
NICER planned some fun games for youth to participate in while their parents were participating in or watching the game, including:
KITE FLYING
WATER GUN RACES
CHALK ART
GIANT BUBBLES
AND A "HOLE IN ONE" 50/50 GOLF GAME FOR ADULTS
A total of of $15,000 was raised during the event, which was spit equally between the five charitable organizations listed above. Thank you to the Battle of the Badges planning committee for including NICER in this year's event. We appreciate your support!
