2023 PRIDE PICNIC IN THE PARK

Across the nation, June is celebrated as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month. NICER is excited to take part in Ironwood's 3rd annual, PRIDE Picnic in the Park! 

Last year, NICER was one of many local businesses, residents and partners who participated the free, family-friendly, outdoor event that took place in Ironwood’s new downtown City Square. Participants enjoyed music, games, and more!

This year, the event was back with a fun 3-day weekend planned! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the NICER booth during the Pride Picnic in the Park, where we chatted with community members about our mission, the types of projects and events that we are currently working on and shared volunteer opportunities for anyone interested in joining our group. We also sold NICER t-shirts and passed out other swag, such as stickers and keychains.
