2023 ADOPT A HIGHWAY CLEAN UP

GO TEAM!!

NICER completed their first roadside clean up since we adopt our Adopt-A-Highway section! 

It was rainy, muggy, and VERY buggy, but we did it! Our NICER board, Neil Klemme, Serena Tauer, Maleah Cummings, Ellie Maki, Sharon Tadlock, Kari Klemme, Ken Saari, Steve Fiene, and Rebecca Holm, joined by Karl Zinsmaster from the Penokee Rangers and Saint Maud’s, cleaned trash from a 2-mile section in Montreal and Pence. Not pictured, Harold Schmude, who got an early start earlier that day.

The majority of items cleaned up were beer cans, lots of fast food wrappers, a tail pipe and a kiddie pool.

We plan to do another cleanup in the fall, so stay tuned!
